Several months later, Mary Ann called to let me know that Echo was for sale. At that time, my friend Ann Herman and I agreed to purchase and co-own her. | Later Echo was bred to Champion Paw Paw Knickerbocker. From that breeding, Darkel's Sassy of Velika was sent to live with Carol Sommers. Carol used Sassy extensively in her breeding program and she produced several champions for Chanson Bichons. The breeding of Sassy to Champion Darkel's Artic Star produced Champion Darkel Beaux Yeux Artic Hope who made her home at Darkel. Princess as she was called produced Champion Darkel's Sky Rocket and Champion Darkel's Ruffles 'n Lace when she was bred to Champion Darkel's Imperial Gamble. Ruffles received recognition as the #3 Bichon in Canada while in the classes achieving her Canadian championship. |
