We attend nearly all New York State cavy shows and will gladly make arrangements to bring pre-sold cavies with us whenever possible.  Arrangements can also be made by the purchaser to pick cavies up at our Binghamton, New York home.  Cavies will be available AFTER they reach one month of age - not before.
Shipping: Cavies will be shipped if a DIRECT flight (with no changes) can be arranged.  Cavies will NOT be shipped if flight changes are necessary.   I do expect purchasers to let me know what airports are accessible to them and what airlines service those airports.  If shipping is necessary, I require a minimum purchase of four cavies.
Airports:   We will gladly ship your cavies from any airport reasonably accessible for us.  We can ship via any airline that departs  from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, Pa., Binghamton, N.Y., or Syracuse, N.Y.  at no additional charge.  Other airports will require a minimum three hour (each way drive) and would be an additional fee of $50.00 to help defray the additional cost to myself.   The usual cost of shipping is $150. to $250.  Due to temperature concerns  shipments will NOT be made during the months of July and August.
Ordering: We try to limit the number of cavies that we keep so that each animal can receive the individual attention and care that it requires.  Sometimes we will have what you want immediately.   Other times purchasers must wait until such animals are available.  I will try to estimate how long that will be.   As soon as the babies are born you may reserve any baby posted available on our "Nursery" page.
Reservations: Once the cavies are born, the cost determined and you decide that you would like to reserve one (or more).  A 50% deposit must be received by me within 10 days to hold that cavy for you.  If the deposit is not received within this time we will assume that you are no longer interested and the cavy will then become available to another buyer.   This deposit WILL NOT be refunded if you change your mind.
Payment: All payments are in U.S. funds. All cavies must be paid for in full prior shipping or delivery.  We accept payment by money order, certified check  or personal check (cavies will be shipped once cleared).
Shipping Crate:  When the number and age of cavies to be shipped has been determined the next step is to obtain a carrier for their transport.  Any carrier used must be a flight approved carrier.  You may send one of your own to me for shipping back to you, or I can place an order with a cage manufacturer and have one sent to myself.  The cost would be approximately $40 for a standard 3 - 4 hole carrier, plus $5 per water bottle.
Other Details:

Once I have the carrier and the cavies are ready I will make the shipping arrangements.  We do not have a cavy warehouse, therefore all payments and shipping arrangements for any cavies ordered from us must be completed within 30 days from the time the number, quality and quantity of cavies to be shipped is available.  Delays in shipping beyond 30 days, caused by the buyer's failure to ship carriers, payment, etc. as required will charged at $1.00 per day per cavy being held.  Beyond 45 days all sales are void and payment for any cavies purchased will become the property of the seller.

If possible the cavies are sent C.O.D. for shipping fees so the shipping is paid for by you when they are picked up at your airport cargo office.   Frequently, this is not possible and you must also prepay all shipping fees.
