Due to our commitment to showing "Spooky", Avi's
show career was put on hold while "Spooky" gained his championship.
When Avalanche took his turn in the show ring, he finished quickly beginning
his career with back to back majors the first weekend that he was shown.
As soon as he had completed his championships Avi was trained by my daughter,
Ruthellen, in obedience. He loved the competition and qualified in
the ribbons at most of the shows while gaining his obedience titles.
Avi was used very sparingly at stud.
He sired only four litters in his lifetime but each litter produced at
least one champion offspring.
